Zombie Survival: a free online zombie shooting game
Take control of an army survivor in a top-down browser game. Keep moving, aim your automatic rifle and hold off the horde. Collect blue XP gems to choose upgrades, find weapon crates to improve your gun and save rare grenades for crowded moments. There is no account or download required.
How to play on phone or desktop
- On a phone or tablet, use the left joystick to move and the right joystick to aim. Your rifle fires continuously in the last direction you chose.
- On desktop, use WASD or the arrow keys to move and point your mouse to aim. Firing is automatic.
- Pick up a rare grenade cache, then tap the grenade button or press G to throw in your aim direction. You can carry three grenades.
- Press P or use Pause for a break. Quit to arcade returns to the game selection.
Survive 12 different worlds
Fight through Grassland, Ruined Streets, Military Base, Flooded Harbour, Frozen Wastes, Desert Ruins, Volcanic Rift, Mars Colony, Orbital Station, Alien Jungle, Crystal Caverns and Toxic Swamp. Each has its own scenery, obstacles and named boss.
Each world now has a different objective. Complete it to summon the area boss: rescue survivors, defend power, collect key items, destroy nests and survive hazards. Shoot red fuel barrels to blast nearby zombies. Defeat it to see your area stats, catch your breath and continue. Your upgrades and grenades carry into the next area, and you recover up to two health. After the twelfth world, the route repeats with tougher enemies.
Build your weapon—and protect it
Blue gems earn upgrade choices such as rapid fire, piercing rounds, extra bullets, movement speed or a larger pickup range. Gold weapon crates improve your rifle; green medkits restore health. Losing one heart resets weapon damage, firing speed, piercing and extra shots to the starter rifle. Once your gun is upgraded, collecting more weapon crates also banks backup rifles (maximum two). After a hit, tap Backup Rifle or press R to equip a stored gun. Your other upgrades and stored grenades remain.
A few survival tips
Keep space around your soldier and move away from crowds before they surround you. Turn your aim as you move, use obstacles to split the horde and collect nearby gems when there is room. Save grenades for a cluster of enemies or a difficult boss encounter; a grenade hurts bosses without usually ending the fight.
Free browser play and local scores
Your best zombie kill count and audio preferences stay in this browser. A run does not save between visits or sync across devices. Music and sound effects can be switched off before starting or while paused.
